The data

The primary source for this site is US Census Bureau international trade data. Official data is what the Census Bureau publishes. Everything we build from it is our own independent work and hasn't been reviewed by the Census Bureau, including calculations, shares, rankings, rounded values, curated product groupings and generated descriptions. This product uses the Census Bureau Data API but is not endorsed or certified by the Census Bureau. Shipped Where is not affiliated with the Census Bureau or any government agency.

No warranty

The site and its information are provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep them accurate, but we don't guarantee that they're accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site will always be available. Government data can also be revised after we publish it.

Not advice

Nothing here is trade, legal, financial or investment advice. If a decision depends on these numbers, check the original Census data or ask a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

The site is free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Using our content

You're welcome to share links and reference our charts and original analysis with credit to Shipped Where. The underlying Census Bureau data is public domain and does not require our permission or attribution.

The site's original text, charts, code and design are © 2026 Patrick Stevens. We don't claim ownership of Census Bureau data, which is in the public domain and free to download from census.gov. Product and company names mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe trade data.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, United States.
